From July to August 2019, with the great support of the governmental departments at all levels of Shandong Province, SZSE, by giving full play to its systematic, professional and local service system strength, carried out a Capital Market “Service Week” Campaign in eight cities in Shandong. Through the campaign SZSE gathers forces to provide practical, professional comprehensive services, assists Shandong in cultivating new drivers of economic development and jointly implements the three major financial tasks (serving the real economy, forestalling and defusing financial risks and deepening financial reform). Before this, SZSE and the Shandong Provincial Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement to make innovations in service concepts and models and continue to expand the depth and breadth of services for local economy.

During the “Service Week”, SZSE gave play to its professional strengths in various business fields. Centering on the characteristics and transformation and development focuses of Shandong’s resource industry, SZSE provided precision matching services to eight cities in Shandong, namely, Jinan, Qingdao, Yantai, Weihai, Zibo, Weifang, Dezhou and Linyi. Regarding topics like regulation and governance of listed companies, cultivation of pre-IPO companies, fixed-income products and transformation of scientific and technological results, SZSE held a series of activities including business training, investment and financing matchmaking, visits & surveys and forums. A total of 4 forums, 13 training sessions and 30 lectures were held and organized, with the coverage including nearly 600 enterprises of all types.

As Shandong has a vast economic hinterland and complete enterprise development gradient, the “Service Week” made active exploration and innovation in service concepts and models. It features longer concentration time, wider coverage, strong professionalism and various forms, which improved the pertinence of work. During the “Service Week”, SZSE strengthened communication and coordination with relevant governmental departments, took into full account the characteristics and demands of local governments and enterprises, and made a number of cooperation achievements. For example, giving play to SZSE’s role as an investment and financing service platform for innovation and startups, facilitating the matchmaking between Shandong’s scientific and technological projects and industry financial resources, and deepening the service content in cooperation with relevant cities. The the “Service Week” received extensive attention and support, delivering sound results.

Through the “Service Week”, SZSE further deepened the close cooperation with local governments, established a long-term stable linkage mechanism, optimized the market cultivation service system, and strengthened cultivation results and the brand effect of “Service Week”. Next, SZSE will intensify cooperation with local governments, explore in depth the cultivation and development of local capital markets, carry out “Service Week” in more provinces, cities and autonomous regions, enhance the “Service Week” brand, improve service precision and actively assist in the high-quality development of local economies.
