To implement the requirements of the CSRC to protect investors and actively respond to the call of “World Investor Week (WIW) in 2019”, SZSE has recently organized a series of activities for “WIW in 2019” to listen to investors’ needs, lead investors to learn financial knowledge and form correct investment ideas, popularize the concept of investor protection, and facilitate the innovation and development of the protection of the rights and interests of investors.

WIW is an education and protection activity for worldwide investors organized by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). SZSE attended WIW in 2018 for the first time. During WIW this year, SZSE fully upgraded the content and form through online and offline means.

First, SZSE held the “achievement exhibition of member investment education service work”. SZSE displayed innovative member investment education products online, built an online learning platform for resource sharing, and further enhanced its ability to serve investors.

Second, SZSE launched the activity of “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy”. SZSE, working with its members, organized investors to enter the investment education base of SZSE, visit the listing hall and ring the gong, and learn the development process and achievements of the capital market from the rich historical exhibitions and theme sharing.

Third, SZSE organized cartoonists to visit SZSE’s investment education base. SZSE arranged for more than 30 well-known cartoonists and artists to approach SZSE to get acquainted with the history of the capital market, and exchange ideas on and explore the creation of interesting and cultural investment education products, vigorously promoting the combination of investment education and cartoons.

Fourth, SZSE carried out out investor service activities in Qinghai and Gansu. Together with regional offices of the CSRC, relevant local associations, investment service center and other institutions, SZSE conducted a series of investment education activities such as “Lecture Hall of Investors” and “Entering the Campus” to help investors in both provinces enhance their professional knowledge, guide investors to form concepts of long-term investment, rational investment and value investment, and boost the inclusion of investor education into the national education system.

Fifth, SZSE held the “Walking into Fund Companies” activities. SZSE organized a number of investors to walk into Great Wall Fund and Baoying Fund, attend keynote speeches, participate in interaction and communications, obtain knowledge about fund products and individual financial planning, learn diversified investment strategies, and strengthen risk prevention awareness.
