Shenzhen Stock Exchange Launches 3·15 Investor Service Week in Multiple Regions

Date: 2024-04-02

To thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the guiding principles of the Central Financial Work Conference, and to deeply understand the political and people-oriented nature of the capital market and exchange work, SZSE has launched a series of activities for the 3·15 Investor Service Week in Beijing, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan, Shaanxi and other regions. These activities focus on the "five major financial tasks", with an emphasis on enhancing financial accessibility, benefits, and convenience for the public. We aim to address practical issues for the public at the grassroots level, continuously advocate for rational investment principles, and promote the improvement of financial literacy among the general public, thus consolidating the foundation of investors for the reform, development, and stability of the capital market.

Firstly, we advocate for rational investment principles. SZSE has fully utilized market cultivation bases, member organizations' education bases, and branch offices to hold 10 investment education lectures, aiming to promote understanding of capital market regulations, securities market fundamentals, and the importance of rational investment. During the events, we conducted discussions and exchanges with on-site investors and responsible persons for investor education from member organizations to gain a deeper understanding of investors' demands. We listened to extensive opinions and suggestions, and promptly responded to investors' concerns.

Secondly, we continue to serve the development of new quality productive forces. With a focus on key sectors, innovative industries, and core technologies, we have held 10 sessions of the "Listed Companies' Open House Program for Investors". We organized investors to conduct on-site visits to representative listed companies such as Mindray Medical and ThunderSoft. Through tours of company exhibition halls, production workshops, research and development centers, and other areas, investors gained direct insights into the company's product features and technological characteristics. This helped enhance their understanding of the company's research and development innovations and their recognition of its intrinsic value. These activities also expanded the interactive communication channels between investors and listed companies, thereby accelerating the formation of new quality productive forces.

Thirdly, we are deeply committed to providing practical services at the grassroots level. SZSE has actively held 17 related activities in local communities, campuses, and business districts, integrating investor education into grassroots services. On one hand, we conducted grassroots outreach services in places where people gather regularly, and distributed educational materials such as books and brochures on site, bringing practical benefits to the local community. On the other hand, we held investment education lectures for college students to popularize financial and securities knowledge, aiming to improve the financial literacy of the younger generation.

Next, SZSE will continue to seek practical strategies, implement practical measures, and carry out more investor education service activities. We will continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of investor education services, actively create a favorable atmosphere of respecting, embracing, and protecting investors, so as to contribute to the construction of a strong financial country by providing educational efforts for investors.
