On December 2, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) organized a delegation of its listed companies for a roadshow in Frankfurt, Germany, titled "Invest in China: New Opportunities". This is aimed to present China's high-quality economic prospects during the 15th Five-Year Plan period and tell the compelling stories of SZSE-listed companies' technological advancement through face-to-face dialogue, thus enhancing local investors' understanding of the opportunities and investment value in China's capital markets and further facilitating the Sino-German industrial and investment cooperation.
The industrial chains and supply chains of China and Germany are deeply intertwined and broadly cooperative. This marks SZSE's third consecutive annual roadshow in Germany since 2023. The five participating listed companies are from sectors central to new quality productive forces such as digital economy, high-end manufacturing, and green and low-carbon development and maintain local operations in Germany or Europe. They held in-depth discussions with the representatives from leading German asset managers, insurers, and investment banks on topics including development strategy, industrial cooperation, and financial performance, which drew keen interest from attendees. German participants noted that Sino-German cooperation is expanding from traditional sectors such as automobiles, machinery, and chemicals into emerging areas like AI and renewable energy, and expressed their intent to pay closer attention to the prospects for industrial cooperation with SZSE-listed companies in Germany and the related investment opportunities.
Moving forward, SZSE will thoroughly implement the guiding principles from the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Under the leadership of CSRC, we will steadily advance high-standard institutional opening-up and continue to enhance the quality and efficiency of connecting SZSE-listed companies with overseas investors to further facilitate cross-border investment and financing activities and contribute to the smooth flow of both domestic and international economic cycles.
