Bonds are securities issued in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Bonds are issued at a given price and oblige the issuer to pay back principal and interest on a pre-determined date. Bonds listed on SZSE’s call auction and block trade platforms include treasury bonds, local government bonds, enterprise bonds, corporate bonds, detachable convertible bonds and corporate convertible bonds. The platforms also offer repo services on treasury bonds, Local government bonds, enterprise bonds, corporate bonds and structured convertible bonds.

As of 30 December 2011, SZSE had listed 137 treasury bonds, 76 local government bonds, 46 enterprise bonds, 53 corporate bonds, 3 structured convertible bonds and 6 corporate convertible bonds.
